STYLISTIC AND GRAMMATICAL POTENTIAL OF ENGLISH TOURISM DISCOURSE

چکیده
Purpose. The paper aims at discovering stylistic and grammatical peculiarities in tourism discourse based on VisitBritain.com text corpus; analyzing its application scope mission; specifying “tourism discourse” as a notion.
 Methodology. Used the are general scientific methods (synthesis, generalization), analysis of corpus, method linguistic analysis.
 Results. issue separate unit, not subtype advertising discourse, remains highly disputable nowadays. present analyses theoretical basis notions “discourse” discourse”; determines levels communication means tourism; substantiates hypothesis multi-component multi-modal structure phenomenon. In practical part research, author draws special attention to specifics English terms typology, lexicology morphology. concludes by saying that is different from one well requires further investigation into issue.
 Practical implications. results presented article can be used both theory applications, i.e., inquiry pragmatic constituent interdisciplinarity; compilation corpora tourist texts language; adaptation for present-day realities addressees’ demands.
